Album covers not updating/saving onto songs

Hi, still new to all of this and am currently in the process of moving from plex, I'm running into a problem on Jellyfin where if I update the image on an album, it does not change the image of the songs within that album. I am unsure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is an intended feature and I need to update them all manually, or perhaps I just need to wait for it to update? I'll try and upload an image showing it if I can. I am using the Windows version of jellyfin
