I bought an album from bandcamp and downloaded it. The tracks appear to be tagged properly with artist, track number, and album name. When I upload the tracks (to the folder MUSIC_ROOT/ARTIST/ALBUM -- same as other albums I've bought and downloaded or CDs I've ripped that I own) Jellyfin finds them, but they only show up as individual tracks, not as a coherent album. I tried both .mp3 and .ogg files. I don't run into this problem when I buy & download MP3 albums off Amazon. I compared the .mp3 files with one of those, and the only difference was total tracks, so I added that to ID3 tags in the MP3 files and re-uploaded, but they still aren't grouped in an album.

Try running this album through Musicbrainz Picard to see if it tags them differently.

    That worked! Thank you.

It changed a bunch of fields so I can't tell which one(s) fixed it, but it might have been disc: 1/1

For future reference, when you click on the song/album in the right panel it will show you the before/after in the bottom panel.

Saw that, thank you! Lots of fields changed and I wasn't sure which change(s) helped Jellyfin group the tracks as a single album.

I'm noticing an issue with the album that Picard recognized and fully labeled though... the artist name is not appearing below the album name.

It should say "Hailaker" below "Holding". At least, that's what I'm seeing for other albums.

In the Finamp album list I see "Unknown Artist":

But then when I play any song from the album (either in Jellyfin web or Finamp), the artist name properly shows up as "Hailaker".

The artist page for Hailaker in Jellyfin doesn't list the album Holding (nor any albums for the artist).

Metadata for the album, artist, and each individual track all appear to properly contain musicbrainz identifiers.

Oddly, tracks from other albums (again, ones I've bought from amazon music, not bandcamp) do not have musicbrainz identifiers, and artist names for those albums do show up on the album pages. For example:
