    I have 33 seasons of the Detective Conan anime and for some god awful reason only season 1 will pull the wrong metadata, that of the live action, no matter what I do. From episode 15 onward it continues as the correct series.

    I have tried many combinations of filename details and the settings to extract from the file are off. Those being on made almost every season wrong.
    Current structure is like this:
    Quote:Detective Conan (1996)/Season 01/Detective Conan (1996) - S01E01 - 001 - Roller Coaster Murder Case [HDTV-1080p][10bit][AV1][Opus 2.0][JA].mkv

    Named by {external app - TDP} like so:
    Quote:{Series TitleYear} - S{season:00}E{episode:00} - {absolute:000} - {Episode CleanTitle} [{Custom Formats }{Quality Full}]{[MediaInfo VideoDynamicRangeType]}[{MediaInfo VideoBitDepth}bit]{[MediaInfo VideoCodec]}[{Mediainfo AudioCodec} { Mediainfo AudioChannels}]{MediaInfo AudioLanguages}{-Release Group}

    I'm losing my mind over this... What else can I check or change?

    Add the TMDB ID to the folder name.

    Code:
    Detective Conan (1996) [tmdbid-30983]

    FWIW, TMDB uses "Case Closed" as the show name vs "Detective Conan".  The live action version is also named "Detective Conan" so that may have played into the problem.

    But providing the TMDBID pretty much guarantees accurate identification.  Which your external app can automatically add to your show folder names.
