    Hey Guys,

I recently switched my Server from a RPI4 to a HP Elitedesk and Im experiencing a problem with the full media scan since then.
Before switching, I created a backup of the jellyfin server and used that backup on the new server after initial set up. The problem is, I changed the paths of my drives on the new Server. Previously I had drive 1 mounted in /mnt/MYBOOK and drive 2 in /media/username/hdd_flo.
Now drive 1 is mounted in /mnt/My_Book and drive 2 in /mnt/hdd_flo.

I changed the paths accrodingly in the Library settings and they work.
BUT, everytime I do a full Library scan, it detects and lists movies and episodes twice. One item from the new paths and one from the old paths. The old ones obviously not working since the paths dont even exist on the new server.
The only way I can get rid of them is by using the Merger Plugin and clicking split all episodes and split all Movies. After that they are gone until the next full scan. This also only happens on full scans.

Any Idea how I can fix this, its really annoying?

Thank you in advance for any Ideas!

EDIT: Its not just on full scans, it also happens with single library scans

Do you use playlists or collections? Also, changing paths suddenly is a definitely not a good idea.

Go to /var/lib/jellyfin/root/default/ and in each folder make sure that references to the old path no longer exist. After you've confirmed that, you will need to delete the library entirely from Jellyfin and re-add it.

Thanks for the quick answer. I check /var/lib/jellyfin/root/default. There is no mention of the old paths. If I delete and readd my libraries will I lose anything? Like custom metadata or something like that?

You would probably lose most or all of your custom metadata. Watch status would be preserved, usually.

So I`ve created a second movie library with a different name to test. But this library also lists the movies twice

Which folder is the library "root"? And can you provide examples of how you have your movies organized and named?

I have two roots. /mnt/MYBOOK/Media and /mnt/hdd_flo. Both have a MOVIES and TV-SHOWs folder. In these folders I have my Movies saved each in a respectiv folder named like: "Cars (2006)".

Are you adding /mnt/MYBOOK/Media to the library? Or are you adding the MOVIES and TV-SHOWS folders?

i added /mnt/MYBOOK/Media/MOVIES and /mnt/MYBOOK/Media/TV-SHOWS to their respective library. Anyway, the duplication hasnt happend for 2 weeks now, even with full scans. I dont know why but I wont complain. Thanks for taking your time responding tho!
