My server just ran out of disk space because my Jellyfin container took up over 30 GB of space - and it wasn't the volumes. I recreated the container and the disk space was freed. After some investigation I assume it's the transcodes folder in /var/lib/jellyfin/transcodes that caused the issue and was wondering, whether the task is working correctly. I took a look in the logs and it says that the task was completed, but took 0 minutes.

Is my assumption correct, that transcode files are piling up? If so how can I prevent this? And is it correct that the task is run, but not showing any success?

Did it fill up while you were watching something? 30GB isn't a lot of space.
