I just set up Jellyfin (long-time Plex user) and after a while to settle and scan everything, it seems happy with clients on the local network, so I've set up remote access for my mobile.

I have a Cloudflare tunnel to get around CGNAT, with a subdomain 'jf.domain.net' routing to the Jellyfin server. Cloudflare presents https to the world, then maps to http on port 8096 at the destination, standard CF tunnel stuff.
If I hit https://jf.domain.net with Chrome on Android, I get the Jellyfin login page and can log in, play media, etc, all fine.

If I ask the Jellyfin Android app on the same device to connect to https://jf.domain.net, it fails. Says it's tried https, http 8096, https 8920, all unsuccessful. Putting :443 on the end of the URL also doesn't work, nor do http://jf.domain.net or http://jf.domain.net:443 (trying the weird combos just in case!). Jellyfin device list shows the Chrome on Android, but not the Android app, which tallies with what the app is telling me.

I can't work out why the app would fail when the browser can reach the same URL. The only thing I can think of, would be the app trying to use a protocol that's not http(s), which might cause CF to ignore it. There's no problem logged by cloudflared. I've also tried adding jf.domain.net and the local IP of the cloudflared system to the known proxies list in Jellyfin, but no joy.

    Any ideas much appreciated!
