Android TV client not displaying Episodes?

When adding a New Library with the Content type being Shows, nothing shows up on the Android TV client.

    Hello!

I am very new to using Jellyfin, so I apologize in advance if my question makes no sense.

I have a few movies and some series on my Windows computer on which I run the Jellyfin server. I have all the movies in their respective folders and all the series in separate folders, each season having their own folder. When setting up the Media Libraries in Jellyfin (Dashboard -> Libraries -> Add Media Library), for the Movies I select Movies as the Content type, enter the Display name, then select the Folder that contains the movie. When opening up the Android TV client and selecting the Library I just created, I can see the movie file(s) in there, and have no issue playing them. So far so good.
Now, when trying to add the series, my procedure is the same, except for the Content type, where I select Shows instead of Movies. When trying to open said Library, nothing is displayed (on the bottom it says 'showing 0 | 0 items'). On the home screen, I can see some episodes in the "Recently added to ..." section, but not all episodes.
When using the webui/PC client, opening the Library I had set up for Shows also doesn't display anything at first, but after selecting Episodes in the top menu bar (where Shows is selected by default), I can see all episodes. If my logic is correct, if there were a way to select Episodes on the Android TV client (which I was unable to find a way to do so), my issue would be solved.

Is this a missing feature from the Android TV client, or is it just me using Jellyfin in an unintended way?

    Thanks,
    Lada

Can you provide examples folder and file names for your shows? It sounds like you may not have folder/file names that conform to Jellyfin's documentation and it wasn't able to properly identify the shows.

I somehow totally overlooked the documentation for naming Shows.

Originally I had each season in their own separate folder, so I created individual Media Libraries for each season.
Moving them to a folder I had named after the show solved the issue (and "unlocked" a new UI I had never seen before Grinning-face) solved the issue!

Now I just need to figure out why each season got assigned random names. I had added the last 3 seasons of Riverdale to a library, one season is Teen Titans, the other is Street Dance of China and the last one is Jays according to Jellyfin.

    Thanks for your help!
