I have a few suggestions on how to massively improve the usability of the Android TV app with hopefully minimal time/effort

Please excuse me if this is the wrong place to post this message because I am new here. I have used the Android TV app for quite some time now and have a few simple suggestions that, at least to me, seem like they should be very quick and simple to implement but will massively improve the quality and usability of the app. All of these features are already part of the Desktop and Android Mobile versions so you might already have a roadmap for adding these to Android TV...

    1. Random sort movies listed in the "Genres" view (like the Android mobile app does)
Currently they are stuck in alphabetical order so the same four or five movies show up first in almost all genres because most movies fall into multiple genres. I always switch over to my phone to look at genres because of this.

    2. Add "Random" sort option to the movies listing
Desktop and Android mobile have this as an option and it can make finding something to watch, especially with large libraries, a lot easier for users. Again, I switch to my phone for this.

    3. Add genres to the Smart Screen or make navigation to genres more prominent (consider adding genres link at the top of the main movie list)
Currently the only access to genres that I can find is an odd link at the bottom of the Smart Screen. The genre view is very powerful and greatly enhances the user experience so it would be great if it were made more prominent.

Jellyfin rocks! Thanks for all the hard work!
