    Version: 10.8.13
Installation Method: Windows Installer (Server) and Google Play Store on a 2023 Onn Android TV and a Fire TV (Client)
    Issue:
When I play about half of my library, on my android TV (at 1.0 speed), the framerate is incredibly low, there is some stuttering, and there are audio issues.
    Additional Context:
    • The shows all run fine on my windows PC, iPhone, and iPad.
    • Weirdly, they also run as expected on the android TV on either 0.75 or 1.25 speed or when I use an external player that can disable hardware decoding.
    • On all three devices, the video is direct playing, so there is no transcoding going on (I think this means no logs).
    • Unfortunately, setting a streaming mbps limit on my android TV did not fix the problem, the stuttering just continued at a lower, transcoded resolution.
    • The videos shouldn't be difficult to process: it's happening with 1080p and 720p h264 videos.
Have others experienced android TV issues like this? I don't know what to do from here. Thanks!

I think low speed between Jellyfin server and Fire TV.
    Can you test it?

What you are describing sounds like the client asked for a direct play, but it isn't actually able to handle the direct file. Another things that can bring a lot of Android TV devices to their knees are ASS subtitles.
