I'm not sure why, but the cover to my anime library keeps getting half covered by a black box after a while (see attached). If I right-click, then "Edit Images" and delete the Primary image, it fixes it, but after a while it ends up with the black box again. None of my other libraries do this, so I'm at a loss.  If anyone has experienced this, or has an idea of how to stop it, I would greatly appreciate it.

That is not an actual black box. The images are just not 16:9 aspect ratio.

Those come from the AniList plugin.
Those images used to be classified as banners in Jellyfin, but a change has been made due to reasons.
    Those now appear under backdrops.

So if you travel to the anime it's from (Dandadan from the image I see) and you open the image settings, you will see that the backdrop is not a full-sized 16:9 image.

You can fix this by disabling AniList as a metadata provider, or making something like TMDB being a higher priority so those full-sized backdrops get prioritized.

If you want proof, here's the AniList page for Dandadan: https://anilist.co/anime/171018/Dandadan/
You can see that the main banner is not a 16:9 image.
