Anime metadata incorrect

Hi

I have added the solo leveling anime in Jellyfin.
The metadata of the first season works fine, but the metadata of the second season is incorrect.

This is an example of the location of an episode.
/home/thlonewolf/data/media/tv/Solo Leveling (2024)/Solo Leveling (2024) - S02E02 - I Suppose You Arent Aware [WEBDL-1080p][EAC3 2.0][h264]-ToonsHub.mkv

However the metadata does not seem to be filled in correctly (see attached file).

Might someone have an idea at what might be wrong?

Make sure to use TheMovieDB as your main provider and either lower the priority, or disable the other anime plugins.

AniDB and AniList don't follow seasons and instead treat seasons as a new show.
TMDB will follow seasons for a show.

After adding TheMovieDb as the main metadata provider, it now sees the seasons and episodes correctly, but the episode name is the one of the first season?

Also what exactly do you mean by 'TMDB will follow seasons for a show'? Is this not what is supposed to happen?

I would try doing a rescan that replaces all the metadata.

TMDB does list multiple seasons as being part of a show.

AniDB and AnilList both separate seasons and will treat them as their own show.

To give a visual:

With TMDB:
  Attack on Titan:
    Season 1: AoT S1
    Season 2: AoT S2
    etc...

With AniDB/AniList:
  Attack on Titan:
    Season 1
  Attack on Titan S2:
    Season 1
  Attack on Titan S3:
    Season 1

After re-scanning the entire show library and replacing the metadata, it still shows the thumbnail and title of the first season. So S02E01 shows the title and thumbnail of S01E01.

Create Season folders and move the appropriate files into each folder. To more explicitly illustrate efficient's suggested folder structure.

However, this still doesn't add the correct metadata even after refreshing it all.

You need to match the source. If you check TMDB, you should notice the issue right away.

They use absolute ordering by default, while your layout is in seasons - which they have listed as production. To fix this, go to the show's metadata in Jellyfin, change the display order to "Production," and then rescan your media.

Could you spare some time to explain a bit more about how you know which display order to use and how you know which one depending on how it is listed on TMDB?
