Hello all,
I recently switch to an Apple TV from a Chromecast Google TV Stick where I was using the native jellyfin app with very little issue. For other reasons we decided to switch to the appletv and I went with Swift fin for my client. Nearly all of my content seems to play just fine except for one tv show I have. It will play fine for maybe 20 seconds then it will begin to hitch and stutter. After that the screen will start to completely discolor and large grey color artifacting will intermittently pop up on screen. I think the only difference between this show is it is HDR. For context my tv is not HDR compatible, so it may be related to tonemapping settings? However, the content plays just fine if I use any other client on any device. The only other time i've seen this problem was when i downloaded episodes of the same show to my phone with the swiftfin using the feature where i select a lower bitrate so i assume some transcoding was happening. Ive tried messing with some settings but nothing has seemed to make any difference in the playback.
The media is a 4k HEVC HDR file
