Artist merging doesn't work

Hello.

Trying to set up my music library but I did come to an issue.

I use Picard to identify all of artists and albums before adding them to my NAS but sometime Jellyfin creates duplicates because of a slight change on the artist name 
However it seems merging artists doesn't work at all, when I try to group artists, it throws an infinite spinner of doom.

Logs doesn't seem to indicate something is going wrong, it's just there, spinning

I tried to re-identify the faulty album to no avail, manually update artist name in Picard, refreshing all metadata doesn't help eigher
