    Hi,
I have a server running Jellyfin, which my family uses with multiple user accounts. Occasionally, I encounter media files with 6.0 audio or lower. Whenever I try to play a movie with 6.0 audio on the Chromecast with Google TV 4K, I get a playback error and cannot play it at all. However, movies with lower channel counts (e.g., 5.1, 2.0) play without any issues.

I'm unsure how to resolve this. I’ve already converted my entire library to H.265, MKV, and AAC using Tdarr. In the past, everything worked flawlessly, but now I’m stuck. Find attached the client playback menu.

    Best regards,
    Eduardo

Can you share your jellyfin logs? And ffmpeg logs, if they are present?

And can you try setting the Audio Output in the Android TV app to "downmix to stereo".

    Hi,

I went into Jellyfin on Firefox and got this out of the logs submenu. Pardon my incompetence, but I've never done it so I dont know if this is what you needed. For example I know that the client having trouble cant watch -Ël Encargado- tv show season 3 chapter 6 and 7.

Thank you so much again and let me know if you need something else. Ill get it right away.

Did you try setting the audio setting to "downmix to stereo".

In the Android TV app on the Jellyfin home screen, click the gear in the top right, Playback, Audio Output, set to downmix to stereo.
