Is Jellyfin 10.9 on the horizon already?

Is there an approximate timeline for when 10.9 will be released?

    Hi all,

I am well aware that the mantra in open-source projects is 'It's done when it's done.'
However, the bug concerning playlists and multiple users—'Each user has full rights to every playlist'—is extremely problematic. I would like to grant my family access to the Jellyfin server, but under the current circumstances, it's not really feasible.

Therefore, I wanted to cautiously ask if there is already an approximate timeline for JF 10.9?

    Best regards

It is close, but as always we can't give any ETA's. More information will be posted shortly on our blog.

I've been following the #JellyFin threads on the Fediverse about 10.9, like the one below. Some neat changes coming. So glad to be getting the restart button. Right now, I have a bat file on my desktop to restart it. Will be nice to do it from within Jellyfin itself.

I never have to restart my JF unless there are system updates that require a VM restart. In terms of reliability and stability, I absolutely have no issues :-)

Good to know that it's at least getting closer, since there's a couple of things that make 10.8.13 a real pain in the ass.
