    Budget Jellyfin HW

Is my HW powerful enough to run Jellyfin on Unraid?

I am planning on repurposing an old desktop I have lying around to build an Unraid server. Aside from backups for me and my family, I'd like to run Jellyfin server on it as my Mac's storage isn't large enough for my growing collection of Linux ISOs. The question is - will my 2-core i3-4130 with 8GB of RAM able to handle all this? Will I need a dGPU? I don't want for it to be able to run 5 streams simultaneously (just 1 will be enough), but transcoding will probably be required as some of the stuff I have is 4k HDR. I can upgrade the CPU for an i5-4570S (10€) or i7-4790 (30€) for more than double the performance of what i have, but I'd like to know if all of this is even possible before I make any purchase.

    Thanks in advance Smiling-face

If your clients don't need the videos to be transcoded, that should be fine. If you need any level of video transcoding, you'd need a modern Intel CPU or add in a dedicated GPU. The Intel Arc A310 and A380 are excellent value, at least here in the US. If Nvidia GPUs are more accessible where you are, a 1000 series or newer is recommended (except the GT1030).
