Hey all,
I have Jellyfin (10.10.7) running as a LXC container (installed using community-scripts) on Proxmox (8.4.1 - Linux 6.8.12-9-pve).
My device is Lenovo P330 Tiny with i7-8700, 64GB memory). And I have enabled Intel GPU passthrough.
I have a personal domain registered and pointing towards the Jellyfin install using Cloudflare DNS.
When the Jellyfin works, it works well. However, there are certain issues I am coming across, and I want to fix.
My client devices are:
- Apple TV 4K
-- Using Infuse client, it works fine as expected. I have not noticed any issues so far. Infuse is configured to access Jellyfin using public domain.
- iPad
-- Infuse client used to work initially. But since last week, it connects to Jellyfin, but does not update available media.
-- As a workaround, I have resorted to accessing via Jellyfin web, again accessing it thru public domain. This usually works. Although, since last week or so, it has stopped connecting at times. I see the screen to select "Jellyfin server", I select the server displayed (my public domain) and then it throws an error saying "We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again." Now I have tried to connect to Jellyfin and play a movie from my PC, and then tried to access Jellyfin from the iPad, and it still throws the same error.
A couple of times, I have restarted the Jellyfin container and this issue has disappeared.
How can I troubleshoot and resolve this issue ?
Is there any debug logs I can enable and check ?
Thanks in advance.
