Is there any way to turn off the jellyfin logo in the screensaver as it does not move when the image changes. on an oled TV It will cause burn in.
Am I missing a setting somewhere.

This is important to me too. The latest screensaver changes have made things worse, rather than better.

Other than that, the app is great.

I would be happy to pay for a premium android app if it includes options to reduce screen burn risk of screensaver.

While this doesn't answer the question, the current screensavers for the web GUI are constantly changing or moving which should prevent screen burn-in.

The logo screensaver has the logo doing turns and moving a bit.

The backdrop screensavor can be custom set to switch between pictures in X amount of seconds (5 seconds by default). Though I don't remember if the backdrops have a logo set in the same place all the time.

Maybe it can be changed to a black screen by using CSS. Though getting a CSS value for the screensaver will be hard since it disappears when you hover over it with the mouse (and will make selecting it with browser tools hard). Someone that knows the exact name of the object would need to help here.

Only other thing I can think about is replacing the logo file in the github code with a blank image, then recompile the code to get your modified server.

They are probably talking about the Jellyfin for Android TV screensaver, which does have a static logo.

Yes sir, absolutely correct. I was 100 percent talking about the jellyfin for android TV.

Perhaps this is the wrong forum.

You CAN, but you'd have to modify the source code and recompile and reinstall. No way remove it via some setting.
