For me, Jellyfin handles everything splendidly except untagged audio files. I've got them in a folder, and no matter what category I set for the library (books, home videos, music, etc), I cannot get these "random" "homemade" tagless audio files to show up in Jellyfin.
I've got untagged homemade videos and that works perfectly. The files are of many different formats, mp3, m4a, etc, and none show up in the library. I've checked that they have the same permissions as all my working videos, music, etc.
Are these "random" audio files not supported in Jellyfin?
Thanks.
EDIT: Solved. It would appear it has to do with my directory structure. I had audio dir under a broader directory that was also set as a library, so I'm thinking you cannot set a subdirectory from an existing library as a library. Simply making a new directory elsewhere and placing the files allowed it to work.
