h265 4k on Apple Tv

Hello everyone, first post here.

I'm having what I'm sure many others have had, issues with h265 HEVC codec playback issues on many devices. Mainly Google Chromecast & PC. I'm currently between houses and don't have my Sony TV with me that handles pretty much everything I throw at it.

I've been looking at short term solutions and an Apple TV box came up as a relatively cheap option.

It's a 4th Gen 4k (model A1625 to be specific). If I buy this and install the jellyfin app, will it be the solution that I'm looking for? 

The main issue I'm having with h265 files is the stop start nature of playback, or some instances refusing to play the file at all.

I can't comment on the native Jellyfin app on tvOS, but Infuse is a really good tvOS video player that interfaces very nicely with Jellyfin. I use it on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook and couldn't be happier with how pleasant my experience has been. I also haven't had any issues playing HEVC (4K and below) files via Infuse.

Thanks for the reply. How exactly does Infuse interface with Jellyfin? I've only had experience using the native Jellyfin app on various devices so far.
