    Can't Add Items to Playlists

    Unable to add anything to a playlist

    I just updated to 10.9.0 and am now unable to add anything to a playlist.  With the previous version of Jellyfin, I had 6 playlists set up and they worked fine.  After updating, the playlists were all empty.  So I tried to just create all new playlists.  I can click on Add to Playlist and go through the process of naming, but when I click on the playlist i created, it is empty.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  I would appreciate any help.

    I'm on Windows 10.

    I just moved from 10.8.9 to 10.9.1 and am currently facing the same issue on my W10 server. There is mention that JF is handling playlists differently now. After a little digging I do notice that my old playlists I created back in February 2024 are stored in C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\data\playlists. They are there but they are not reflected when I start and run 10.9.1 Jellyfin.

    About the only thing I can do as far as keeping some sort of playlist is to favorite the songs I like. Hoping a fix is released soon!

    I got my playlists to repopulate and reflect my old Feb 2024 saves.

    I made an error in my previous post. I had upgraded from 10.8.9 to 10.9.0. I realized this after investigating a bit more. I downloaded the latest 10.9.1 server exe and installed it. Upon starting it up I immediately went to playlist and opened up one of them and was elated to see the songs in the playlists.

    @OP. Maybe try updating to the latest JF release 10.9.1 if you have not yet.
