    SOLVED: High cpu usage with hw accelaration qsv

    Almost 100% cpu usage when transcoding a single 4k hdr file to 1080p sdr with qsv enabled.

    What kind of phone is it? Does the phone's SoC support HEVC decoding?

    Its a galaxy s23 with snapdragon gen 2 yes i think it does support HEVC decoding.

    Huh. My Pixel 6a is also getting H264. Transcodes on other clients are HEVC or AV1.

    I'll look into this.
