    I am a new user of the rasberry pi5, so I need everything explained like a child, but I am trying to learn.

    I have setup JellyFin using Docker (whatever that is?) and mounted a share from my NAS Drive using the command below:

    I created the folder diskstation with the command

    sudo mkdir -p /media/diskstation

    Then Run the command

    sudo nano /etc/fstab

    And added the line:

    //192.168.10.200/jf /media/diskstation cifs guest,vers=1.0 0 0

    Then saved and rebooted

    I can see my NAS and the videos I want to view in Jellyfin in the file explorer on the PI, but when I am setting up the Jellyfin Server, I cannot see the folder diskstation when trying to add a folder in the setup wizard, I can see /media but its empty

    Please can someone help me diagnose why I cannot see the diskstation folder

    As I say I am a complete newbie and don't know very many commands as I am still learning.

    NOTE: The Raspberry Pi 5 is called out specifically in the "Problematic Hardware" section of this official documentation page. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/admini...selection/

    You might want to consider that before you spend a lot of effort getting it installed.

    The Docker Wikipedia page has a good overview. If you run a Jellyfin image in a Docker container on any HW, you'll need to specify the media directory for your files during the container setup. You can't do that in the web UI. You may be able to adapt this to your situation: https://www.wundertech.net/how-to-set-up...ology-nas/

    In particular, mapping the container volumes to your shared folder:

    What do your  mount statements for docker look like?
    From my docker run command
    --mount type=bind,source=/mnt/media,target=/media
    On my host /mnt/media shows up as media on Jellyfin.
