I have installed Jellyfin 10.10.6 on a new Windows 11 installation.
In Windows Explorer I have connected the M drive to data that I have on my Qnap nas.
I did that with a specific user. And I set the driveletter to reconnect and save the user and password.
From windows I have access to the data.

Hoever Jellyfin says it cannot find the path.
I tried \\servername\dir\dir\dir dir and m:\dir\dir\dir\dir, but both do not work.
By the way I only see the C-drive in the folder list.

I wonder what is going wrong.
Maybe someone can hint me into the right direction?

    Thanks ahead,

You should stick with the basic install. The service install requires a lot of advanced configure to make work with network shares.

Uninstall, delete C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin, install as basic install, clear your browser cache, try again.

    Thank you that worked.
I had some quircks, even after clearing the cache, but got it working after that.
    Something still stayed behind.

Then I had the M drive available, and now I am looking my first movie.

    Thanks again.
