So as the title suggests, after installing on W10 I have set up the server client and assigned a library successfully but for some reason the server just stops frequently. I have to access the shortcut in my app dock and manually restart it constantly. I have set up a power profile that ensures the hard drive does not go to sleep. I am not using any VPN services.

I'm trying to switch from plex for remote access and still have it running for local access and it is working fine. Any assistance is appreciated.

Unfortunately this does seem to be an issue with 10.11.x - hopefully it’ll be fixed at some point

So it's not just me then. I've been really confused because I have been searching my issue for potential resolutions but I haven't found anything regarding bugs with the current release. Thanks for the info.

What hardware? Windows 10? Are you transcoding and/or using hardware acceleration?

I had this issue before with an older and fx and an older Nvidia card. Works great for direct play or as a NAS. Transcoding it shits on itself.
