I am running Jellyfin server 10.9.10 on a Windows 10 host, and using the WebOS v1.2.2 client on an LG TV.

All of the other functions on the client seem to work fine but I cannot view my photos. I can browse the photo folders and see the thumbnails but if I click on a photo to view it full screen the photo does not appear and the screen goes completely black (no photo and no playback controls). I can use the back button to return from the black screen to the menu.

The Android TV 0.17.5 client on a firestick connected to the same server is able to view photos normally, as is the web client on Firefox.

The server log file did not include an activity related to photos during the test, even on debug level. The client was installed through the LG Content store and I am not aware of how to access client logs if there are any.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks for the responses.
The photos are all jpeg format.
I checked the bug post linked above which referred to loading as very slow so I tried again and left the all black screen sit for over 5 minutes and it was still all black so it may be related but in this case it goes beyond very slow.
The TV is a OLED55B6P running WebOS 3 version 05.70.40 which is current.

The TV info says the available internal storage is 3.36/4.27 GB.

I find this really odd because I know this was working for me about 6 months ago using Jellyfin for WebOS V 1.1.0. So I tried rolling back to that but no luck. After selecting a photo the screen still goes all black.
I can watch home videos stored with my photos. I select them from the thumbnails and the player menu comes up and if I hit play they play normally.

I updated server to 10. 9. 11. It did not help with the problem.

    Hi,
Thanks for the response. Was that the latest Jellyfin release or LG TV WebOS release>? I tried rolling back to the previous Jellyfin client but still had the same problem.
