Cast and crew disappears after clicking on them

I have the same problem with Japanese voice actors. The problem seems to be related to TMDB. With other metadata providers (tvdb or anilist) everything is fine.

When I click on a cast from some shows, the cast details are empty and when I check back on the casts from the show, the cast member that I clicked on disappears and not even replacing Metadata returns the cast back. I've reinstalled jellyfin but the problem's still there. The attachments show one member disappearing after clicking on it

multiple shows but not all cast members. It seems to affect people who I don't have a lot of shows off. I've noticed that the problem doesn't affect those who have 3 or more appearances in other shows that i have.

Tmdb also has problems fetching all the actors, I have a show with only four voice actors when tmdb lists more than a dozen for example. I tried increasing the limit in the plug option, but it does not work.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I thought the problem was just me. And yeah, a lot of Japanese casts keep disappearing too. ill switch to tvdb for now but hope there's a fix for this.

Can confirm that the problem is the tmdb plugin, tvdb has no problem with casts. The tmdb bug seems to be deleting Actors from Asian movies and shows after clicking on them

Happened to me with Billie Blain on a french movie (The Animal Kingdom).

I see this issue too. Was looking to move from plex but this is offputting as I dont want to create a big library and hava data missing.
