    Chromecast app can't connect to server

    Stopped suddenly in the midst of watching a show.

    I was watching a show, and it stops suddenly, saying player error, retrying. It stops retrying. I went back to the main screen, and nothing works. I force stop of the app, clear cache, and try again. Now I get the User and Server page, to login. I do so, it says unable to connect to server.
    Now I can only get the server and user, nothing happens if I click either. So I enter server address, same as on my pc. It's unable to connect, the address is correct.
    This is from the log at the time, just the error

    Server version 10.10.7
    App version 0.18.8
    Running server on windows 11
    Chromecast

    What went wrong in the middle of watching a show?

    I got it to work again, by rerunning the update .exe file. That got me to quick connect, and now it's back.

    I'd still love to know how it could stop working mid-show. And if there is a more valid fix. Just seems so very odd that something changes in the background which makes it stop working

    Can you provide a full log that includes the incident happening and post it to privatebin.net? That's the only way to try and diagnose issues.
