If you're talking about this CSS code to hide the ratings, the Jellyfin web ui allows for users to disable and add their own CSS code to style their view separate from what the server owner set it to.

Also, the CSS code changes only applies to the web ui. It will not work on other clients that don't use the web ui, so clients like the Android TV app will still show the ratings.

Very helpful, thanks guys. I'd rather watch something without knowing what other people think. When I use the JF player for Windows, I've been wishing to hide the rating but didn't see the options in settings. This CSS works great, thanks again.

The Android TV app has a built in setting to hide ratings. The problem is some of the other apps don't have this functionality, like the Roku App.

But really, custom CSS and individual app settings (when the maintainers opt to include them) are litterally just masking the problem: there's no way to disable or block these things server side. You can't even properly lock that metadata field, so it will be overwritten with every scan.

I shouldn't have to mess with CSS to display my personal media library the way I want, I should be able to granularly manage the data in that library and determine what fields get used.
