    Conflicting Database Information

Having issues with getting one database to be read while others are ignored

Ok, so I am not sure what else to do other than to spend hours entering the data manually, but I have the show A Haunting on my Jellyfin server, and unfortunately a couple of databases have the episodes and seasons a little different. For example, imbd and the movie db are the same, but the tv db is different. I've tried scanning and refreshing by just removing the other database IDs and only keeping imbd in there and I've also tried increasing the importance of the movie db for shows under the library settings. Unfortunately nothing works, and I'm worried that even if I spend hours meticulously correcting this, it might be overwritten by accident. Any ideas at all? This is incredibly frustrating as the vast majority of episodes have incorrect titles and metadata.

For corner cases like this, you could manually input the metadata yourself, then you could lock the metadata to make sure it never changes on any future rescan.
The option to lock the metadata is found in the very bottom of the metadata pop-ups. Just enabling it on the parent show will apply the lock recursively to all seasons under the show.

You could temporarily disable the metadata providers and scan it with the one you want to get the metadata, lock the metadata for it, then re-enable the other metadata sources.
Just keep in mind that the lock feature only applies to already-filled metadata sections. It will not prevent empty metadata fields from being regenerated.
