    I am using Jellyfin 10.9.6

Whenever I try to start Jellyfin, I get a windows error pop-up, see attached image.
The error is: "Could not start Jellyfin server process after the specified wait period." and then where to find the logs.
I have been going crazy for the last few days trying to track down what's wrong here, and can't find any information online, or common issues. The wording is also really confusing. Why does Jellyfin have a specified wait period, and how do I disable that? Assuming it's not stopping another error? And why won't it let me start Jellyfin at all?

A few days ago I could start Jellyfin after getting that error by restarting my server computer, but not it happens regardless. Jellyfin can open in my windows system tray, but whenever I try to start my server, it doesn't run, and after a few seconds I get the error. I also can't find anything off in my logs: https://pastebin.com/vQkvdnYc
In which only one was created.

Can anyone help me with this?

Edit: Apparently it works if I run it as administrator, which it doesn't do automatically anymore, and I can get onto the website, but I can't log into any profiles. It's an infinite load, and I can't use it.

    Try clearing your browser cache.

Also, what version of Windows are you using? 7 or 8.1? Their server equivalents?

I’ve tried multiple browsers and cleared their cache, and I am using Windows 11.

Can you share the logs after you ran Jellyfin as administrator? I don't see anything wrong in the log you've already provided.

I'm also having the same issue. Upgrading and uninstall/reinstall hasn't helped. Running as administrator doesn't make any difference either. Any ideas?

One of your config files is empty. In C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\server\config are any of the XMLs empty?

Delete the migrations.xml file. It will regenerate the next time you run jellyfin.
