Problems with Subtitle Extract plugin

Hey guys I have a question regarding the subtitle extract plugin, is it capable of extracting ass subtitles because for me it does not work, I just get an error message. Maybe someone here can confirm if this is an issue on my end.

I posted on that github issue that it is also happening on my system. I will poke around and see if there is a workaround or if we have to wait for a plugin update.
