Sorry if this has been posted before, but my search did not turn up anything so here I go.

Can you type in a custom rating or add one? Like for example on Plex you can make up a rating for anything on the server.
Example: Rated K for kids. This is just an example but you get the idea. I have some people on my server that
are sensitive to certain movie types like LGBTQ friendly so I can put in a custom rating so the movie is not visible to some
    users at all.

If you have any suggestion would be much appreciated!

    Example screenshot below.

You can add arbitrary "allowed tags" to a user's profile. Then add those tags to your content. Movies, music, individual episodes of a show, or the whole show.

Can that be done in a mass edit way? My current Plex server has over 9k movies and 300 tv series and 100k music. Been thinking about switching. Would be really difficult to not be able to mass edit.

Unfortunately no. But depending on how you want this to work, you can either set a "positive" tag so that only content with that tag appears. Or a "negative" tag that will block content with the tag, but show everything else.

I'm not aware of any external apps that would speed up this process other than writing a script that uses Jellyfin's API.
