I'm having an issue with shows with multiple seasons, where the files for the subsequent seasons start counting the episode numbers from where the last season left off. Ie instead of [Show name] Season 2 Episode 01, it'd just be named [Show name] Episode 25 (assuming season 1 was 24 episodes long).

I want these series to be split up in their respective seasons, but Jellyfin will by default use the given episode numbers, in the above case starting the season at episode 25.

I could of course rename the files, or manually edit the metadata to set it as 1, but it gets tedious and if I forget it creates a bunch of issues. Is there a way to automatically make Jellyfin list the earliest episode of a season as episode number 1, and increase it accordingly?

    An example:

The SubsPlease release for Shinigami Bocchan S2's first episode file name is [SubsPlease] Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid - 13.mkv

I want Jellyfin to view this as the first episode of Season 2. Ie, with metadata Season number: 2, Episode number: 1
I use Ani-Sync to automatically update Anilist, and if the metadata is incorrect, Ani-Sync either fails, or incorrectly updates the list.

I've tried three different folder setups:
    - A base folder 'Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid' containing the episode file
    - A base folder 'Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid' containing a subfolder 'Season 2', which contains the episode file
    - A base folder 'Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid Season 2' containing the episode file

Neither of which actually solves my problem.

Is it possible to fix this without manually updating every episode file?
