    Greetings,

I recently set up a Mini PC as a first config for a Jellyfin server as my initial goal was "just something to run my media with low power". (NiPoGi AK1 Plus N100, debian bare metal, 4GB RAM + 4TB SSD. Used what I had laying around)

As I fall more and more in the rabbit hole of homelabs and home media servers (+ noticing some limitations on my current setup (like heat, storage, processing while generating trickplays, etc...)). I'm considering upgrading my setup to a more future-proof configuration, while trying to stay as close as possible to a lowpower config.

My initial thought was just to go for a motherboard with an integrated N100/N150/N305/etc... to have more storage expansion, cooling,... but I suddenly had this wild thought of "what if I want to encode AV1 ?".

So I was wondering if any of you had experience in such setup ? (ARC GPU needed?, etc...)
