I have searched for almost 18 months for a way to detect the aspect ratio of movies playing on my shield pro. I moved to jellyfin after rebuilding my server and have it working great in my home theatre. Issue is because the screen is a projector and movies are sometime 16:9 and sometimes ultra wide. I basically need a way to run a node-red automation whenever the movie starts to check what aspect ratio the movie is and adjust the projector zoom and curtains. I use home assistant and node red, so have access to the jellyfin integration.
I know jellyfin has access to the aspect ratio because it has its own features based on it. Anyone got any idea how to access it from Hass or node-red. Even just some sort of API I can get access to from node-red, just some way of checking the aspect ratio.
