Same as a browser, if you click on the gear in the bottom right and click "Playback info" it will display all the codec info as well as dropped frames.

Well that's very interesting then because it never shows dropped frames in JFMP.
Maybe Chrome has a problem with something.

I found out the problem with dropped frames in Chrome when direct streaming,I had prefer Fmp4-HLS container ticked Unticking it stopped the dropped frames.
But I can not do the same with JFMP infact it will only direct play and won't Direct Stream at all. I'm stuck on this one.

JMP does have settings to always transcode.
Settings (not dashboard) > Client settings. I don't have it in front of me to give you the exact setting, but there are a bunch of check boxes to control how you want transcoding to happen.

I swear I have gone through everything but it would be handy to know what needs to be ticked. not great pictures.
I had taken some pictures but I'm having technical difficulties at the moment lol

I don't believe it lol that worked thanks to both of you, I had ticked them all but didn't think I needed that one.
The only thing left for me to sort out is my phone playing 1080p H264 through both players doesn't work I have to bump down the bitrate to 20mbps |
