Server: Fedora Linux 42 (Server Edition)
Jellyfin.Server 10.11.1.0 package: jellyfin.x86_64 10.11.1-1.fc42 rpmfusion-free-updates
Set up: Amazon FireStick 4K via HDMI to Onkyo receiver to Samsung TV
client: Jellyfin for Fire TV version 0.19.3 (latest update)
prior Jellyfin for Fire TV version 0.19.2 also fails.
Firestick 4K Max Gen.1 Fire OS 7.7.06 FireTV Home Version 7240142.1
Jellyfin server works perfectly when accessed from a web browser and even from the Amazon Silk browser from the Firestick. All my libraries (Movies & Music) are shown on the home screen and accessable as expected.
Had no issues until a few days ago when the Jellyfin Fire TV app (version 0.19.2) stopped accessing the Music library content. The albums, artists, etc. show up but not the album contents. Updated the app to the latest 0.19.3 but the issue remains.
I doubled checked all file permissions on the linux server and they're correct. The fileowner is set to the Jellyfin group and the user is part of the jellyfin group. So no permission issues. I noticed that the Music Library is grayed-out (Preferences->Customization->Browsing->Libraries->Music
I'm using Pavarotti as an example artist but the issue applies to ALL music artists and albums.
Correct Example from browsers: Home->Music->Luciano Pavarotti->Albums->Greatest Hits-> song1, song2, etc.
Correct Example 2 from browsers: Home->Recently added in Music->Luciano Pavarotti Greatest Hits-> song1, song2, etc.
Problem Example using the Firestick app:
Home->Music->Luciano Pavarotti->Albums->Greatest Hits-> NO ALBUM CONTENTS SHOWN so I'm not able to play any song!!
Instead of the album contents "Instant Mix","Favorite" and "Open Artist" are the choices given. "Instant Mix" creates a random song queue, "Open Artist" brings me back to Luciano Pavarotti->Albums.
Help!
Further--- I'm having the very same issue with another Jellyfin server under Linux Mint. It has to be the Amazon Firestick app!!
