Dolby Vision not working on Android ExoPlayer

I have the same issue, and I submitted a bug report, complete with client logs. Basically the client allows direct play of Dolby Vision even though it is not supported by the player. The server does not know there is an issue so it does not enable transcoding. Hopefully this helps!

Just a quick update, the issue persists in server v10.9.0. My workaround is to force a lower bitrate in the client so that the server realizes it needs to transcode. I will update this thread once the bug is patched.
