Adding subtitles to a whole show at once?

I am currently downloading subtitles for each episode separately, which takes forever. I am pretty sure that I was able to do this on Emby, so it would be nice if I could do it on Jellyfin without the subscription. Any advice on this would be really helpful, thanks.

was there a good reason you didn't just copy the subs off the discs when you copied the episodes in the first place?
they would already be there if you had...
