DVR recording stops randomly

The people I've spoken with have said that DVR works reliably for them. So I am not entirely certain what is going on with your setup. I found this old reddit post.

I only use live TV (publicly available IPTV) so I am not familiar with HDHomerun, Xteve, and Jellyfin's DVR functionality.

One setting that has caused issues for me while using the DVR functionality is enabling 'auto-loop live streams' in the tuner settings (Admin Dashboard > Live TV > (Your Tuner). If you have this setting enabled, you could try disabling it and see if it fixes the issue. You could also try updating your Jellyfin server to 10.8.13, but I don't know if this will fix the issue since I'm not sure if this was something fixed in the recent updates. Can anyone comment on their experiences with Live TV / DVR in Jellyfin? Should I expect the DVR to be reliable or are there known issues? Would be good to hear about experiences with particular Live TV sources.. might help me narrow down what is causing my issue.

Yes I have the exact same situation. Also in the guide. In your guide in ui does the recording radio button become grayed out?

I am using ubuntu 22.04 also. Will look at /var/logs.
