Jellyfin now unusable on Android TV

Server version: 10.11.5 (but issues developed over time and were present on previous versions)
Platform: only having issues on Android TV app
Server hardware: Synology DS224+

I'm fairly new to this, running my server on Synology DS224+ from a docker container. Thought I had everything running well for a while. Performance was snappy, no big issues. I have always been able to play anything on iPhone app and via browser, but the app on my android tv presents issues. At one point I had to manually force a lower bitrate or else the TV would not initiate transcoding for high resolution files. Once I set max bitrate in the app to like 5Mbits/s it seemed to be okay. Then over the last couple of weeks we've developed very very slow performance and buffering, which was often fixed by rebooting the tv. I tried clearing various caches in the TV (overall system cache, app-specific caches for Projectivy Launcher and Jellyfin.

I also tried setting it to "use external player" and playing with VLC, but that hasn't been working either.

Yesterday I tried upgrading to the latest Jellyfin version (10.11.5) and all seemed to go okay, but now it is all tanked. Very very slow loading on library, and videos will sort of try to play but either buffer or just sit at black screen like trying to load.

I'll attach two logs below: one is the one "sent to server" after the app crashed today, and the other is from the server when trying to play "Miniscule 2" and failing.

Any help would be truly appreciated.
