I did try search on reddit and this forum through google dorking but i really didnt find any guides or anything useful however I did find some posts which seemed to imply that Jellyfin has media playback while its still downloading.
Streaming video files mid download : r/jellyfin (reddit.com) (in the comments OP updated that they switched their OS and since then their Jellyfin is able to play media while its downloading)
Allow watching movies while they are still downloading · Jellyfin Feature Requests (this one implies that they can watch the part that has downloaded when opening the media but have to refresh when it reaches that part)

    any help would be appreciated

also for me first the media is downloaded in the torrents download folder (tv or movie repectively) and then transferred to the radarr and sonarr directory and thats where jelly fin is reading from so i dont even see the movie or tv show in the library till it has finished downloading.

Short answer, maybe? But it would have to be somewhere Jellyfin's library is directed at. I also think it would have to direct play since ffmpeg would read ahead for transcoding, even with transcode throttling. And I don't know how ffmpeg/jellyfin will behave if it reaches the end of the file.
