Hello, I am currently using a Raspberry Pi 4B as my Jellyfin server (for my owned content and personal videos). I am in a situation where multiple clients will begin accessing the server simultaneously with almost all on the same network except one sometime in the near future. I think the right move to make is to upgrade to better hardware to be able to support such events and be able to do hardware acceleration. My upload speed is about 25-30 mbps, so I believe the upgrade will actually be necessary. I was wondering what suggestions any of you have regarding doing such an upgrade? Should I buy a used prebuilt on eBay (any in specific)? Should I build my own computer (with what new/used parts)? Should I keep the Pi in the mix acting as a NAS or should everything be done on the computer? Is a GPU necessary? The most I am looking to spend is $500, but I would prefer spending less. I would like for this computer to last at least three years, so this is definitely a somewhat long-term setup. I have a variety of resolutions for my media, but I would say the average resolution is 1080p. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!
