I recently have started to use external player in Jellyfin for direct playback, in the beginning it worked quiet well, but today i've noticed issues like screen gets all mushy, untill i stop and play again, but now it just wont play. In the logs i found this:

[2024-07-22 17:40:45.112 +00:00] [INF] [11] Emby.Server.Implementations.Session.SessionManager: Playback stopped reported by app "Jellyfin Android" "2.6.2" playing "movie". Stopped at "402733" ms
[2024-07-22 17:40:45.252 +00:00] [INF] [24] Jellyfin.Api.Helpers.MediaInfoHelper: User policy for "user". EnablePlaybackRemuxing: True EnableVideoPlaybackTranscoding: True EnableAudioPlaybackTranscoding: True
[2024-07-22 17:40:45.480 +00:00] [INF] [10] Jellyfin.Api.Helpers.MediaInfoHelper: User policy for "user". EnablePlaybackRemuxing: True EnableVideoPlaybackTranscoding: True EnableAudioPlaybackTranscoding: True

If i change Jellyfin back to web player, movies gets played, but not directly.

    Using:
    official jellyfin docker image 10.9.8
    Jellyfin for Android 2.6.2
    mpv for android from f-droid
    jellyfin from f-droid

I've tried to change to VLC and also uninstall mpv and reinstall, but the issue persists (Last solution is to reinstall Jellyfin, but id rather wait with that untill all has been tried.

For your android app are you using the web player or integrated player?

Click on your icon, Client Settings.

Does the integrated player not work? exoplayer supports a lot more formats than the web player.

I tried to clear appdata for mpv and it solved the issue... So for now, it looks more like a issue with mpv for Android, but thanks for your interests in solving this Smiling-face
