    Is 'auto' effectively the same as 4k 120mbps?

    Thread title, just want to make sure that the 'auto' setting would never be higher quality than the maximum you can select - 4k 120mbps.

    Yes and no. The auto setting may incorrectly detect network performance and set a low bit rate. I always set it to 120Mbps for LAN clients.

    Okay perfect that was my exact hope and I had the same concern as well - I didn't want to set Auto as it could sometimes lower the quality, but good to know 4k 120 is maximum.
