Hello, all.
It is my understanding that Kodi v21.0 won’t play embedded WebVTT subtitles, but it can play external WebVTT subtitles.
As a workaround, I used the Extract Subtitles plugin, and after a few days of doing this task, it finished.
However, when I try to play media via the Jellyfin for Kodi plugin, the subtitles still don’t work. I was thinking that since the subtitles are now external, this would work.
Am I missing something? Can Jellyfin for Kodi not use the extracted subtitles?
And/or does anyone have any suggestions for handling embedded WebVTT subtitles on Kodi? Perhaps a tool to batch extract subtitles and batch convert to SRT?
