    You dont have to download the entire repository.

    Go to this url:
    https://github.com/PatrickSt1991/Samsung...ses/latest

    And download the Jellyfin2Samsung-v***.zip

    Extract the zip and run the .exe file inside.

    That's all

    I am so close to getting Jellyfin installed because of you.  I am just getting the following error "Installation failed: TV Name could not be found..."
    What am I doing wrong? For context, my TV is on and sitting in developer mode if that info helps.

    Thanks in advance.

    What version did you use?
    The latest beta version?
    https://github.com/PatrickSt1991/Samsung...1.6.2-beta

    To answer you question, even though you've enabled developer options on you TV the device you're running the tool from can't access the TV that's why you are seeing TV Name could not be found.

    Open op a command prompt on you computer (hit the windows button on your keyboard and typ in cmd)
    When the command prompt is opened typ the following command ipconfig

    The output will look something like this;
    [Image: ipconfig-highlighted.png]

    The IPv4 address you'll need to remember or write down somewhere.

    Next up reenable developer mode on your TV, it will ask you to put in a host ip adres, place the ip adres you've just writen down in the host ip box.

    Restart the tool, and that should do it.

    Now the TV will allow your device to execute sdb commands.

    If it still isnt working, please open a issue in the github repo;
    https://github.com/PatrickSt1991/Samsung...ler/issues

    I'm not getting notification from this board but I do get notification from GitHub

    Kind regards,
    Patrick

    Thanks. I totally missed that my PC was rebooted and it's IP address changed.

    Patrick's program works brilliantly.
