    Hello,

I plan to use my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF primarily for Jellyfin (transcoding) and Immich (hardware acceleration). Here are my current system specifications:

    OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS x86_64
    Kernel: 6.8.0-51-generic
    CPU: Intel i5-7500 @ 3.8GHz
    RAM: 2x 8 GB + 2x 16 GB (total 48 GB)
Current GPU: Intel HD Graphics 630
    PSU: HP Pavilion 280, 288, 285, and Erica2 - 400W (Part No. 942332-001), with a 6-pin (4+2) PCIe connector
I am considering the following GPUs:

Asus GTX 1650 LP OC for around €100 (182mm length).
ASRock Intel Arc A380 Low Profile 6GB for approximately €120.
    MSI GeForce RTX 3050 LP 6GB GDDR6 for €145.
Gigabyte RTX 4060 OC Low Profile 8G GDDR6 128Bit for €327 (requires modifying the HDD compartment for an extra 10mm).
The RTX 4060 requires an 8-pin PCIe connector, but my PSU only has a 6-pin connector.

Would using a 6-pin to 8-pin adapter be sufficient for the RTX 4060 setup?
Which GPU would you recommend for my use case and system constraints?
    Thank you for your assistance!

If this will only ever be used as a server, the Arc A380 is really the only choice that makes sense. Even more so when considering the prices.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1
