Hey I am considering redoing my home server that is currently running Jellyfin.  What I'd like to do is instead run Jellyfin on a VM.  The deal breaker for me is whether or not there is a way I can get Intel Quicksync hardware acceleration working for a VM guest,  At the moment, planning to use Proxmox as my hypervisor.

I'm curious if anyone has managed to get this to work.

Proxmox is able to pass GPUs into VMs, but I believe the requirement is that your CPU+motherboard supports IOMMU or VT-d (I forget which it is called) and that it is enabled.

What is the rationale for moving Jellyfin into a container? Do you plan on having multiple VMs?
